A Westminster Public Schools student is one instrument away from finding their voice — and helping carry the tradition of Mariachi forward this Hispanic Heritage Month. You can be the reason they get it.

On Wednesday, September 16, kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month, you'll see Westminster High School's Mariachi and Orchestra programs featured on 9NEWS Next with Kyle Clark as part of the Word of Thanks micro-giving campaign.

Your gift puts a violin, cello, harp, guitarrón, or vihuela directly into a student's hands. Built to last 20+ years, these instruments become part of Westminster Public Schools — so your generosity keeps supporting new student musicians for years to come.

Colorado Rockies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

The Colorado Rockies welcome students that are interested in learning about what it is like to work in Major League Baseball. Attendees will enjoy an educational panel discussion with members of the Rockies front office staff to learn about what it takes to run a professional sports organization! Students will have the chance to submit questions to panelists. Past panelists have represented departments such as baseball operations, broadcasting, ticket sales, corporate partnerships, marketing, promotions, gameday operations, community relations, and more!
