About the Ranum Future Teachers Scholarship 


Iver C. Ranum began teaching in the district in 1935, became principal in 1939, and was superintendent from 1950 to 1976. This scholarship will be offered to students with an interest in teaching or education.

Quantity: 2 awards

Scholarship Amount: $2,500 distributed over 2 years 

Eligibility:

  • US Citizenship not required
  • Applicant must have a 2.75 minimum GPA
  • Applicant must be pursuing a degree and/or certificate
  • Preference is given to students who show evidence of interest in teaching
